Who We Are
Where Stories Find a Stage
Pace Theatre is a volunteer-driven arts collective based in Atlanta. We bring together South Asian and non-South Asian actors, directors, musicians and community partners to create professional-feeling productions that celebrate Indian languages, classical and folk traditions, and contemporary South Asian stories. We produce short plays, full-length shows, and cultural showcases year-round.

Our Approach
We Facilitate Safe Learning Spaces
We create safe, welcoming learning spaces where theatre becomes a tool for growth, expression, and confidence.
Through workshops, rehearsals, and productions, participants learn acting, voice, movement, language, and cultural context—not through rote instruction, but through experience. Our learning spaces are intergenerational, beginner-friendly, and rooted in respect for tradition while encouraging creative exploration.
01.
— Our Mission
To preserve and promote Indian cultural and linguistic traditions through thoughtful, accessible theatre that educates, entertains, and builds community.
Values: authenticity, accessibility, intergenerational learning, collaboration, and artistic excellence.
02.
— Our Vision
To build a vibrant, inclusive theatre movement where Indian culture, languages, and performing arts thrive across generations—rooted in tradition, alive in the present, and open to the world.
We envision theatre as more than performance. For us, it is a living classroom, a cultural bridge, and a space where identity, creativity, and community come together—across Atlanta and beyond the USA.
03.
— Our Story
Pace Theatre was born from a simple yet powerful idea: our stories deserve a stage.
A group of passionate theatre artists, performers, educators, and culture-bearers came together—many of whom had carried theatre in their hearts from India, and others who discovered it here in the U.S. What united us was a shared longing to reconnect with our roots, tell meaningful stories, and pass cultural values forward to the next generation.
From living-room rehearsals to community halls, Pace Theatre grew organically as a collective driven by love for theatre and service to the community.
